Organisational Development & HR Work

We are working on two major programmes supporting organisations in the voluntary and community sector.

Charity Merger in County Durham

We have been awarded the contract to help five Carers Charities affiliated to the Princess Royal Trust for Carers to merge. The organisations are all based in County Durham and have been successfully delivering services to carers for more than 10 years. Following the abolition of the two tier local authority structure the county is moving towards one central contract for carers services and the charities have decided to merge in response.

Charlton associates recently completed a very succesful consultation process in the county with almost 300 carers attending one of 9 sessions in locations across the county where carers highlighted their priority for service delivery.

Capacity Building in Birmingham

Charlton Associates have just been awarded the contract to undertake a full organisational review of All Saints Community Development Company in Kings Heath Birmingham. Having successfully raised over £3million to build a new community centre, the company have engaged us to help establish all the necessary systems and structures to set up a thriving community resource.
